MANSI THAKKAR

Graduate from NID, Ahmadabad,  she is exhibition Designer and Illustrator.

Apart from illustrating for pleasure and reading, she enjoys stories and storytelling - especially those which explore the semiotics of human behaviour. She is an avid Radiolab listener and I also watch a lot of news debates for catharsis and/or self-harm, depending upon the news channel.

She  believes as important as it is to be self aware, its also imperative for us to break out of the comfort zone (read:ignorant bubble) that we very often create around us. To be a relevant designer is to know history and be able to foresee the future, with an empathetic frame of mind - is something I try to imbibe and reflect in her life, both personal and professional.

ATREI HALDAR

Atreyi completed my graduation degree in Bachelors of Design in the Fashion & Lifestyle (Accessories Department), at National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi .

Her inclination to aesthetics and fascination for how things work prompted her to start internships whilst still in high-school , ranging from graphics and print design to lifestyle products and furniture design and production.

She appreciates the design process with a holistic view, from branding, to concept to manufacturing, striving to find the balance between consumer experience and business preconditions. She seeks to contribute in the field of lifestyle products and furniture, while realizing her skill  in visual art. Her personal interest lies in using native materials and processes and turning them into quality products that offer a taste and fascination for nature and craft.
